The St. Louis Cardinals are running into some problems since their slugger Mark McGwire went on the DL. The Cardinals have been in their worst slump of the season since McGwire has been out.  McGwire has been suffering problems with his knee and is considering knee surgery.  The Cardinals are trying to get back on track by acquiring Carlos Hernandez from San Diego and Will Clark from the Baltimore Orioles who will replace McGwire at first base.  The Cardinals will have to be able to adjust and get back on the right track.  For more information visit ESPN.com.

Napster Saved, But For How Long?

On Friday, Napster was granted a temporary appeal and allowed to stay online.  Napster was created by Northeastern graduate, Shawn Fanning (left) and is a program which allows users to share MP3 files.  Napster will remain online until September, when judges will consider Napster's appeal.  The RIAA won the a court battle which wont allow members to use Napster, but as stated above, the court judges decided to allow Napster to stay running until September.  Napster are trying to get customers to help in the fight to save Napster.
